RE: Replaced FZD ECU G30 - Flash failed / repeat job - not responding / not executable
Oh, now I see that second bootloader (FLSL) was actually upgraded (missed changes in minor version, exactly what happens at 2AM ). That new one IS NOT COMPATIBLE with your hardware. You MAY be able to flash old one back. It COULD also be this unit is RUINED now.
Well, exactly the thing you get when you do "HWID from actual" when you DON'T UNDERSTAND what you are doing. ESys TRIED to warn you, but you basically told it - "SHUT UP, I KNOW BETTER THAN YOU". |

If i keep all the generated initial files stored will there be a theoretical possibility for someone knowledgeable theoreticaly do something with this ECU? Theoretically - it is because "ruined" is always a much higher chance. |

FLSL 2F4C-1-16-0 is still in the latest psdz data. You need to flash back, so you can try to load your NEW SVT actual AS SVT initial (ist) and your OLD SVT initial AS SVT target (soll) and calculate TAL for flashing backwards. IF and ONLY IF it calculates correctly, you can try flashing it back.
You MAY need to do HWID from actual thing again, and this time IT IS CORRECT TO DO. |

I did not touch any other value except of the application of the order of SVT files you named. HWID button is not changing any displayed infomration. At the moment i have a little doubt which FA should be selected for a backwards flash. I suppose actual FA is needed to be selected while SVT target is PreFailedSVTactual, right? |

For me, the flash thing is over now. All the codings as regional limitations removal for SLI and for WWA were removed and coded, so i won't need to change anything in some observable future. There will be a tip for the Forum. |

Glad it ended well. I was happy to (finally) go to bed after that post Istep is only used for SVT target calculation. You passed it manually, so it had no effect on TAL. As 17-03 was the LAST software for this unit, you were able to do it this way. Otherwise, it would have been more complex.
BTW would be nice to get some reputation (that small pesky fourth button on the left) |
