After BDC replacement --> FSC gone in Kafas / NBT
G01, pre LCI, the bdc was replaced by new one, ordered from dealer, installed, flashed without any problems...
Everything is working, only after changeover all FSCs are getting rejected.... I've heared about same issue on F15 older BDC.... Virgin the KAFAS, load fsc back.

Kafas need virgin then inject fsc repair kit
- Secure coding (NCD 2.0) fit to FA changed (Typschlussel, Serie, Region...).
- FSC 1AA002 OEM for remove component protection MGU18/21 (only case BDC replace). - ID8.5 (SFA) conversion/ change region map. - Virgin Kafas4, MRR, RAM used. - Mgu patch, fsc custom match to vin, remove CP. - Reset ISN 7DTC, 8HP for F, G serie (include EGS7). - Write ISN MG1/MD1 with remotely. - Carplay/Android Auto MGU with/without ATM (6AE). When the BDC is replaced and ordered in BMW, all the FSC's are released as new ones.
You should get the FSC Repair Pack and you will see the new FSC's with the same date as BDC was released. At least this happend to my car, G30 pre LCI. |

unrelated but asking out of interest when you say you should get fsc repair pack is this something they give you as a separate file or do you need an online account to access it?

You should ask dealership part department for the FSC Repair kit, they will download it for you free of charge, politely and nicely. I got the FSC Repair kit for my nephew car before.
Also bring the USB thumb drive. Back to the BDC you must have the FSC Repair kit for the KAFAS. |
