some kombi don't have this symbol, like cruise control for example

if it works like it should than kcan are ok.

It's possible some older kombi doesn't support latest firmware.
No problem to draw symbol at display.

I know it is my Kombi. FLA is working in the car, although no display in the Kombi as you show. Also I cannot control the option in CIC, presumably because of the Kombi.

Checking TRC files for C05 (my code index), there is no FLA setting. I need C08 or later, and my hardware will not support this.

I’ve got a later Kombi, just waiting for my R270 programmer to arrive and I’ll get it reset.

Did you code "HIGH_BEAM_ASSISTANT" to activ in CIC?
With this you can control FLA from CIC, Kombi is just for showing symbol.

I have the option in CIC, but when I try to select it doesn't make a selection/tick the box.
