today I made A9 adapter and tomorrow I plan to rework unit. Before rework I make hardware test and it says OK gavel

(with external power supply and 9-10V)

Few months ago I make this test on borrowed adapter, in other conditions, power supply from car and without success.

So, I wonder is this normal? I know this CARPROG can't read 9x eeproms, A1 can't connect...

Hello, change the 4 IC 74HC125D is the only modification to rework carprog 7.28?

Carprog clone many members can say it will work have to tweak it ,and read the manuals really only for mcu usage. I have retooled and remade many of my own adapters , also changed bridges , caps , oclis crystal etc on mainboard also flashed to 4.74 firm . all the N/a are gone and eprom and mcu reading is great no faults. also fixed ground plane and insulated board from aluminum case with k tape. its working fine now but has a nice coat of dust on it , i just brought original so lets see all the faults i find with this one...................cheers

you can try this but I haven't tested it.

You need JLINK programmer to upgrade FW on carprog
