It comes from a Mini F56 (May 2017), the code is HB B246 and the hw is 3.1

Hi yes it is id5/6 capable unit - mini system is a  different but you are correct - can be flashed to be used on bmw as id6 with any screen incl touch screen (it originally comes with mini 8.8 touch screen, have one if needed )

Hi, I have one of these units B246 HW3.1 but it only shows with 2GB of RAM? Does this affect the ID5/6 operation? Is itclikely to experience reboots? I’m just planning the install now.

I read the HU using featureinstaller and also femtoevo. Both say 2GB. Unit is currently being flashed to ID5/6  but I will post an image on completion. But it definitely says B246 and HW 3.1

So based on the serial number here is it likely that the internals have been swapped on this unit or am I missing something?

Is there really that much difference between APIX1 and APIX2 screens?

I am looking at upgrading my 2014 i3 with NBT to NBT EVO, the 10.25" screens from the NBT and NBT EVO for the i3 look identical, same size and resolution so it should look the same when I use a cable with voltage regulator correct?

I have read the picture quality is worse with the APIX1 is that also for the i3? It looks like they only changed the screen because of the voltage.

Any one try reverse order normal NBT with apix2 screen ?. I tried but not success, apix2 screen always "no signal"

Hi guys,
regarding to all what has been written i have an issue with my screen.
I have EVO id4 from 11/16 B140 HW 2.3 and recently i bought 8.8 screen with part no 6 822 626 which is not working - NO SIGNAL problem.
I've tried to code my HU with apix2, mmi, and 24 without success.
Can anybody help my with this?

Evo id4 can run on this screen if still on id4 but after updating to id5/6 B140 is not capable to run apix2 ,only APIX1 ,Spi

You didnt succes because nbt power for CID is around 8V and apix2 screen work with 12V , already tested it and it works fine on NBT need to put 12V on cid and thats it

That's exactly what i did with my id4. I've updated it to id5 but it still don't work with settings for APIX1

If there is sign NO SIGNAL should I use step up voltage to 8,7V?

apx2 display needs 12v
