Bench programming station E Series
Hey Guys, maybe anyone of you can tell me what I've missed.

I have the issue, that I cannot enter diagnosis / Coding via OBD.

I have CAS, Key, Key Holder, KGM etc.

CAS connected CAN, and Wakeup signal to KGM. 1 pin diagnosys to OBD.

KGM 2 Pins diagnosys DCAN to OBD

CAS, KGM, OBD 12v and Ground ofc.

When I try to enter via INPA now it says error IFH-9000 not found etc.

So NCS programming isn't working too.

I don't know where the failure is. Is KBM needed here too? Or DME?

regards

Hi, use my CANtieCAR adapter in JBE emulation mode for bench scanning, coding and programming BMW control modules. I've used it for several years with no issues and seems to be the easiest way to do bench work biggrin

Hi, here is the CANtieCAR setup I use which shows a BMW FRM module. Power, ground, K_CAN high and K_CAN low are the only connections needed to access the control module. A 10 amp 12 volt power supply is also used which are not shown in the photo.

Is this the easiest way to program modules on bench ? What about CIC, it can be connected and updated via MOST while connected to this bench environment ?

Also, you need an LM or LM2 (Light module).
Without it, nothing will work, at least in the E6X

Yes, exactly.
You can do what you indicate, either by MOST or by OBD.
