F3x VTG no communication
Long story short, had 335d xdrive for flashing, everything went fine, no single errors during diagnostic. Current ilevel F20-17-11-540
Shouldn't really touch it, but had performed flexray initialisation and after lost communication with VTG. My main problem is that system completely doesn't see VTG on ista, also checked via esys, LMV_FR is missing. Had disconnected VTG from gearbox, check all power wiring with fuses, all fine. I removed this VTG from faulty car and connected to my mate's 435 xdrive. Power delivered by external source, connected directly to FEM a173/8 pins 11,12. Works flawlessly , no problem. Connected same way to faulty car, no way. I think maybe new FEM_GW firmware stop sending signal in that flexray channel. I can flash whole car back to similar ilevel as was before or any previous one. Also next step is to check out via tool32 channels on fem_gw. If anybody hsd this issue before or have suggestion or solution, let me know. It could be also faulty ZGW in FEM... |

Last year I lost communication with the DME branch after initializing Flaex ray on F02. Tried everything, but at the end I had to change the gateway to fix the problem.

Not sure if it is possible with a FEM but it is possible to delete the FlexRay initialisation with tool32 if I am right. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

Yes, is possible to reset learn flexray via tool32, will try to do it tomorrow. Problem partially resolved, for some reason after flexray initialisation gateway block channel number 3. Had opened back via tool32. On diagnostic have one error from ZGM that flexray isn't done. If I learn flexray again, I loose communication with VTG.
TBH don't have any sensible ideas. |
