Yeah, I can also do VIN change using R270 on 35160WT but this kombi2 has 35128WT. R270 can't read and returns all data 0x80 only. Address space of 35160WT is 0x7FF, while 35128WT memory address is up to 0x3FFF (according to diagprog4 website pdf)

You can use a Diagprog MK2 USB. it can read out 35128WT and also the needed emulator (also from Diagprog).

but not all it
there is one more VIN in dump, that r270 can not read

I removed the 35128WT from the board (but damaged a bit of a pad, hope it can still connect)





I also confirmed that R270 can only read part of what is inside 35128WT using 160/35160 MCU setting. I found just one long VIN. So R270 is not enough.

Should I first try SMOK because it has a 35128 EEPROM setting. I wonder if it can write my VIN (or blank it). CodiProgUSB MK2 also has a 35128 setting, but it says 35128-readonly so it may just do the read and need an emulator. What to try? ------> I ordered a copy of CodiProgUSB MK2 and emulator to see if it works.
