Hello colleagues

I am building a CAS4 + ELV, ZGW, FRM, JBBF, Instrument cluster and DDE bench. CAS module, key and DDE come from one donor, and the rest from others. The whole project is almost ready, but I'm having trouble getting KL15. I know that the ELV is from a different car and KL15 will not work. Before the big failure of the forum, I saw similar topics, but now they are gone, so please help. How can I make a virgin ELV or maybe there is some ELV emulator for the F series?

You could always fake the "ignition" of the CAS4, since the KL15 is brought high (+12v) when a ignition is detected then just power with the "battery" (+12v) connection and use a separate switch is it bothers you.

I have an self build emulator and it works with both E and F series (switched), its currently powering a ZGW (for coding an flashing modules), but I have had a kombi, jbbr, HUD, TV, NBT, Controller, icm, fds module and auto gear selector all plugged in and they all power on and can be seen in e-sys.

For KL15 "ignition", I just use a normal 12v power and that works perfectly well, all modules power on and stay alive.

My idea was to build a bench that would work as much as possible like a real car. I spent some time on it, not looking for shortcuts. I prepared the whole project so that in the future it was possible to add other modules (if necessary), so I did not buy a ready platform for CAS4. At the moment it can be said that the problem is solved because CAS is put into assembly mode and does not check the ELV. KL15 and Wakup work as in normal mode, i.e. with the start / stop key. Of course, in the future I will work on making ELV also work.

Ok, cool, I have a full cas3 system (as well as the emulator) and used a elv emulator, that works ok too.

Hello!
The problem is completely solved. It was enough to replace the ELV with another one (the previous one was incorrect). By the way, I found out that there is no virgin ELV required for CAS4. Now, after changing the ELV to another CAS, it works in normal mode without any problems.
I would like to thank  colleague "Tombo" and "golffwmb" again for their help in solving the problem.
