XZBMW  ENTRYNAV replacement
I want to change from an ENTRYNAV headunit without MOST port to another ENTRYNAV unit with MOST port in order to retrofit a 6WA cluster/kombi.

The car is a BMW F45 year 2015

Will the FSC repair kit from my VIN still work since it is ENTRYNAV to ENTRYNAV

I have not bought a used unit yet as I want to check if this can be done before wasting my money.

Thanks in advance!

RE: ENTRYNAV replacement
Yes should be fine. Since it’s 2015 car it should have the “old” entrynav. You can wipe fsc from the used one, import repair fsc code and done.

The car is a F45, the dashboard can only fit a 1 din unit. 1.5 din NBT will require sourcing a new dashboard. sad

You can keep the original dashboard, just do some trimming of dashboard interior, and replace the “Trim, Centerstack” from 1DIN to 1.5DIN variant.

RE: ENTRYNAV replacement
After retofitting.
Check your VO option code list
When needed remove your old Navi option code
Add the new option code: 6WA
Turn off ignition
Turn on iginition and check again the VO list to see if the option code has been stored.
Then you can start with the FSC updating/ repairing the NAV and maps.

You can use latest ISTA with programming for adding your retrofitted code or use eSys 22.06 or newer to update the Navi option code

Hope these steps will help you.

Why should he remove NAVI option code from FA?
Only thing he needs to do is to add FSCs and 6WA, add 6WA to VCM and code car *esys* with new FA *adding only 6WA

If my post helped please hit the thanks and reputation button handshake Thank You

I wrote "when needed" for example when you update to Navi Plus for a Navi (6UP for a 6UN). If you keep the same then  of cource there is no need.
But thanks for your additional infromation, which will help us all.
