I don't understand what is your problem at the moment. if all the LEDs are red, then the mega16 does not start or there is a problem in the button line that causes the recovery mode to start at startup

Does anybody know the value for capacitor C50 next to the 24c02? Mine blew away while I was using my hot air station...

It goes right to pin 8 (Vcc) on 24c02. From what I can tell it is most likely a decoupling capacitor to prevent voltage spikes. From a datasheet I found they recommend capacitance to be between 10 and 100 uF. Will just short the contacts until I can find a replacement.
Programmed the 24c02 successfully with a cheap CH341a programmer. All that's left is wiring the button/firmware restore. Will do this later today when I have some more free time. |

More precisely, 20-100 nf and do not short the contacts

RE: [RESTARTED] icom next clone repair (only single pcb)
I just waited for a new capacitor. Installed everything. The ICOM had a green blinking LED for 5 seconds then they all turned red. This happened after I changed the serial in the 24c02. I wired up the button and used a fat32 USB drive but am unable to get the restore to start. When I turn the icom on it has 4 red leds. Then after about a second WLAN and SYSTEM flicker green/red rapidly for half a second and then all LEDs stay a solid red
I did find 4.5v at the usb connector |

I can't seem to post a picture. With all 4 LEDs red I can plug in the LAN port and boot to the device settings page. The serial number now reads "-1" after programming the 24c02 with the 18xxxx serial number

RE: [RESTARTED] icom next clone repair (only single pcb)
Hello, Anyone can help me with updating firmware on my Icom A2 clone, is stuck on 03.15.09. I have tried also with ISTA to update but without success. I have attached a video to see how it reacts, after I update the Boot Image, the Application image just stays forever in Update Firmware and after that the Icom comes back in normal state and unchanged version. Would appreciate your help!
