I guess that it is a standalone version. I payed for a deonload link and after installation I had to send a registration code to some guy in china and got back a key to register the ISTA program.

This was most likely a mistake as I could have got it for free also here in a forum, but as I said I am new in BMW software.

What is an Admin client and how could I get that ?

Admin client is not for standalone version. But i dont know will it be solved with it about Tokens... never had this problem yet.

It must be related to the age of the bike somehow.

As I said Iwas using ISTA+ 4.37 on my bike build in 2018 and that was working witout any issues. When I connected the same laptop to my new bike built in 2022 then the token message pops up.

I could live with it if somebody could tell me for sure that the programs works well if I just click this messages away.

Even better would be a hack of registry or config file to disable this token thing.

Today I updated my R1250R, no problems.

Situation:
ISTA 4.34.40
SPD 4.40.32

Actual I-level K001-22-07-511
New I-level K001-23-03-502

Bike:
R1250R
2021
full option, no retrofit

Stand alone does not ask for it. At least not for me
But only used on 21 model RR.

As I said my old R1200 GS also did not ask for it. Only the new R1250 GS, build in November 22 wants this all the time.

There are more differances between a R1200 and R1250. Not only the building date!

This is of course true. But it does not help me with my problem. Also google doesnÄt find any other information on the internet. So am I the only one who has this ?

We are getting the same message from the newer models in our workshop, using older and newer versions of ISTA.

Ok, thank you. So I am not the only one. Do you have a solution or do you know what happens if you just close this window when it comes up. Is it just an information message or is there limited functionality ?
