What does native version mean and what are the differences to my standalone version. Is your version connected to BMW ? What is required on my side for a remote connect ? |

Just updated my bike, R1250GS ADV, today, 4.39.20 standalone with SDP_4.40.32, straight forward, no problem, no messages.

I confirm the use of security tokens by bmw on the models feels. I wouldn't tell you from what year or what I-LEVEL.
Only discovered this at the end of January 2023 from version 4.39.20 online. Possible workaround with an earlier version and current SPD (confirmed). |

I have the same effect with version 4.37.
Which earlier version did you use that worked ? Has anybody ever tried just to click this message box away and continue ? |

Sorry I use the language translation, I asked to confirm with an earlier version whether it works or not.
I'll look into this in the future and let you know what I find out. the dialog box opens on all the modules? or only on security modules? EWS/DME. |

It opens the first time when ISTA finished the complete scan of the bike. I can close it and click on other functions but every now and then the token box opens again.
I am just a little scared to start the complete software update because if this stops in the middle because of the toke issue then this will be not good. |

From what I understand after 2022 BMW has inserted security on the management modules (not all but most)
I wouldn't be able to tell you if programming without connection to the server can damage the vehicle. If however you start I would be curious to know if it went well. THANKS. |

My 2021 S1000RR has been fine so far with latest updates. But I am using 4.39 with 4.40 sdp.
