No, for the Gen1 VCDS clone, only the ATMEGA 162 chip clone could be upgrade.
From you picture, it's not. And another way to indentify, if you plug cable only on usb port and the led on cable is on, it's bad clone couldn't be upgraded. BMW 5 Series and Audi Q4 e-tron user.
