BMW DIS on VM issues
Hi All,
I decided to launch DIS via VM on my W10PRO x64 NVME laptop and I have some strange issues. I upgraded VM to newer one (tried all of them from 8 to 15), then I configured DIS on VM and DiagHead on my desktop, both communicate fine - so all good right ? NO  9.5 out of 10 times DIS just idles forever like shown on "DIS2" attachement. Then I raided internet and downloaded all DIS VM's that I could get my hands on. Problem remains the same with finding that some of VM it does this idling 10/10 times. Anyone could support here ? Willing to $$$ for your time and effort. PS. For ones curious why I want to use DIS anwser is: I have GT1 that I could purchase so first I wanted to test soft with K+D CAN and ICOM. |

The most likely issue here is that the DIS VM's flowting around don't like to work with SSD.

I can confirm that it does not work on SSD....
You need start it on old school HDD Ps. It was surprise for mw when I changed HDD to SSD. |

The GT1 with VMware 16 on Windows 11 21H2 and now 22H2 x64 NVMe/M.2 SSD is working fine, did not have any issue to connect to families and friends e30 or e36.
I turned off the VMware update. |

The official Virtual GT1 is V.57, that is the one I’m using. We’re thought you’re using the same one.

There are 2 versions of the official GT1.
BMW.ISPI.TRIC.Virtual-GT1_1.0_DAT.zip BMW.ISPI.TRIC.Virtual-GT1_2.0.1_DAT.zip V1.0 didn't work on SSD. It started but crashed connecting to a car. I haven't tried V 2.0.1 that's why I'm asking, if it's possible on SSD now. I have no car to try it out right now,. ISTA 4.46.14, ISTA 4.46.11 SDP, ISTA-P 72.0, ISTA Launcher 1.46
