F20 ELV issues
Hi,

I`ve got some issues with FEM and ELV on F20 2011.
I sorted FEM no probs, but ELV needs to be virginised. I`ve tried to read original ELV I thought maybe just needs reprogramming, eeprom M95040 with Hexprog using a clip, but it doesn`t read, connection issues, etc. cleaned legs still the same. Ok I thought the chip is dead, then I bought another 3 ELV units, but they are all the same.
has anyone ever experienced any difficulties to read these eeproms?
I thought its my Hexprog or clip faulty, but it reads FEM 95128s without issues. I`ve tried VVDI Prog too, no difference. Any ideas?

Hexpro is not really good to read this eeprom. The easiest way to read it you need to desolder this chip.
• EGS7/7DCT300 ISN RESET REMOTE •
• KaFAS4 (MID/HIGH) MRR, RAM VIRGIN REMOTE •

that`s fine, mate,  thank you, I`ve got a virgin ELV file for F20/F30, the only thing I was worrying that`s why I wasn`t able to read M95040 in circuit without de-soldering eeprom from the board.
