I couldn't find a bigger box to fit both PSU's so it has the wiring exposed and it took me so much time to squeeze the 100A shunt in that small plastic box w the display, mine is like FranksteinPSU but your copper links are darn HOT |

It's is capable of load sharing up to ~80A@(13-13.7V max which is good for F8x series) in parallel Config. It doesn't look fancy but it does the job and it was fun to mod it. nice guy ! i think that your projekt is a good template for a tutorial ? in my basement i have two server power supplys, too. I google about this power supplys in parallel mode, but nothing found. its secret or can you help us ? If my post helped you hit the thanks and reputation button.

Here : http://bfy.tw/6XuG First two entries, rcgroup and ultimaterc and this our DIY at BP (post 123) with a lots of discussion on its performance. There's even a YouTube video, just search the name. In hindsight, the PSU that @ninja_zx11 is probably the best home made solution! My final conclusion is that the dual DPS-600PB is ok for coding/flashing sessions on our F8x series, but one should definitely have a voltmeter/ampmeter hooked up to it (ebay) and monitor the draw during flashing sessions. Disclaimer: in order to attempt such a DIY, you need to have and understanding of electrical circuits, electronics and good soldering skills as the cables used were quite thick, I hope that helps and be safe. |

Much safer than my bench PSU, you have to be careful, as easy to boil the cells !!! BR Learning is good, SHARING is BETTER
