I can't think of any reason why you need to have ignition OFF for your NBT bench? But, If u need it to stop sending ignition ON, just disconnect either CAN_L or CAN_H / power 12v from your CAN Bridge?

disconnect CAN bridge dont works.
display goes off but NBT keeps going.

i need this.. i have my reasons

If you think with your brain. This is exactly what happens when u take ignition off... The headunit stays on for a few minutes.. fail oh gosh


I think you do not know what you're talking about. if I remove the plug/12v from the Can Bridge, the NBT continues for hours. only the display goes off.

And why does it stay on for hours? Have you wired your 12v through a JBBF junction box to get terminal 30, f, g relays? No yours is 12v constant. Please learn and read how a car electrical system works. gavel

please connect a nbt on a constantly 12v without nothing and look.

i can say what happens. nbt goes on and after a fews minutes goes off.

Just a stupid idea but the carsystems canbridge has a kl. 15 jumper? what happens when you take it out? Never done it because I never had to switch off kl. 15 on my bench setup.

If I Switch off my Emulator, after about 2-3 seconds the display switches off and after about 1 minutes the NBT has fell asleep.
With this method it writes a new persistancy and f.e. deleted last destinations keep deleted.

that's exactly what I wish for.
your can bridge is from carsystems with one jumper?

use only can bridge, zgw2 and power supply?

My CAN bridge is self made with IR remote to switch on/off, louder/quiter...
It´s an Arduino Uno R3 with Seed Studio CAN shield and self programmed software, plugged to a ZGW2 and all powered by a 12V 3A power supply.
(google will help with this hardware)
