Afternoon,


Anyone else having issues with their extended bluetooth setup?

I have an M4 with extended bluetooth from factory. Over the past year - no issues to report at all.

Last 3 months - if I have 1 phone connected - everything works as it should, audio streaming/calls/data etc.
If I connect a second phone (any) then the audio streaming goes to sh**. Can't handle it and eventually drops out.


Both phones are named differently / different makes.

Steps I've taken to fix it so far:

• Deleted all known devices and re- setup my 2 phones (didn't improve anything)
  
• Updated the media settings via the USB drive (as per BMW issued firmware) (didn't improve anything)
  
• Flashed the module to the latest software during a software update via Esys (didn't improve anything)
  

Latest iphone IOS is installed now as well - hasn't improved anything.


Is it just me? Anyone got any other ideas? - Feel like my car is punishing me because I've skipped too many great tracks!

Hey gejeeke,

Nope - both phones are just named “iPhone” and “Samsung phone”.

I’m at a loss as to what else I could try
