RE: Anyone can help me for mount E-series bench?
Hi

I have a few questions for my Bench Setup too.

1. 14-15v directly to cas via MAAS3400.

Ampire is important for that? Or just 14.15v and A automatically given from the supplier.

2. I think I have a CAS3 with ELV. It`s from 2006er with automatic transmission. I don´t have the elv, only CAS3, Button, key and key holder. How to flash CAS3 to CAS3 without elv without permission kl15 from Cas then?

3. Anyone knows how to flash the cic head unit correctly? First A63 then A62 then A0? Can I do it per Ista P too, only CAS3 and CIC with LWL/CAN connected diretly in the BUS System? Or would that fail because, the remaining control units are missing?

Thanks in Advance

Not sure about this.

Kl15 has to be off when programming cas

i tried this one time on my bench setup loading takes ages and it's complaining a lot about the missing units(but i had mixed parts (cas/frm from E90 kombi from E60 and cic from E90. Did not try what happens when you dissasemble FA to let it look like a "cheap" car. When using expertmode should be "possible".

Thanks in Advance

Only for flashing. Is besides Cas and the desired unit to flash anything else needed? Like NFRM or JBBF for E90 or KBM and LMA for E60?

Or is it enough to get CAS 12V GND and CAN BUS + LWL to Desired Unit?

You need a gateway module like jbbf or kgm. But you can't flash the cas with winkfp to version without elv, for this job you need a programmer.

Anyone can help me for mount E-series bench?
Here's my bench with newly added ELV emulator from seller on eBay in UK. Works flawless so far, term 15 good to go on ELV enabled vehicles.

CAS pin #24 to – ELV pin #1
CAS pin #23 to + ELV pin #2
CAS pin #30 to ELV signal

Some cars
CAS pin #41 to 12v (signal for park/neutral or clutch depress)

There you go my friends, sometimes need to reset ELV counter to activate term15

This is more my way. I like to keep things clean. And have the space. And with elv under cic tray. So i can work on Cas modules also.
